Para-archery is a sport where athletes with physical disabilities use bows to shoot arrows at a target. The goal is to hit the center, or "bullseye," from a set distance. Competitors can shoot while standing or sitting, depending on their abilities, and the sport is open to both men and women.

In his Paralympic debut, American archer and Army veteran Jason Tabansky struck gold in the men’s W1 competition, clinching a 134-131 victory over China’s Han Guifei.
Matt Stutzman, known as the "Armless Archer," secured a gold medal for Team USA setting a Paralympic record, by becoming the first archer without arms to win gold in Paralympics history, defeating China's Ai Xinliang in a thrilling 149-147 victory.
China's dynamic duo, Chen Minyi and Zhang Tianxin, successfully struck gold in the W1 mixed team event, showcasing their remarkable skills by defeating the determined team from Czechia.

Pregnant para-archer Jodie Grinham made history by becoming the first pregnant athlete to win a Paralympic medal. Competing in both the mixed team compound final and women's compound, Grinham earned two medals—gold and bronze—securing her place as a trailblazer in the world of Paralympic sports.
