Kicking off the New Year by celebrating another champion. For the fifth installment of Success Sphere, ACP had the pleasure of featuring International Spartan Race Gold Medalist Mr. Spen Manlangit and his phenomenal journey to success.
Sometimes, life’s most remarkable journeys start with the smallest intentions. For Mr. Spen, it began during the global pandemic with a simple goal: to lose weight. Encouraged by a family friend in the U.S., he took on a new challenge—the Spartan Race. What began as a fitness goal soon led him to an incredible achievement: winning a gold medal.
Mr. Spen's journey was far from smooth. Facing a mix of wins and losses in which the latter became a lesson and each win a stepping stone toward something greater. His breakthrough moment came when he competed in the Spartan Race held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Against all odds, Mr. Spen emerged victorious, crossing the finish line just two seconds ahead of the next competitor.
Reflecting on his win, Mr. Spen shared that no one, including himself, expected this outcome. "It was dramatic. I was only two seconds ahead" he recounted. What made the difference was the crucial shift in his mindset and the inner push that drove his unexpected success.
I’ll be taking this WIN with HUMILITY in my heart knowing that I was able to run along with great athletes.
Just as in a race, life is filled with challenges and obstacles. Success often comes not from the absence of struggle, but from the ability to adapt, push forward, and maintain focus on the finish line. Mr. Spen’s track to success serves as a reminder that every setback is a chance to learn, and every win, no matter how small, brings you closer to your goals.
This New Year, let your achievements shine brighter than ever. Let ACP honor your wins and those of your team with custom awards that inspire and motivate.
